- 4 envelopes active dry yeast
- 2 c. very warm water
- 3/4 c. honey
- 4 c. milk
- 1 stick margarine (1/2 c.)
- 2 Tbsp. salt (low sodium)
- 10 c. whole wheat flour
- 2/3 c. wheat germ
- 7 c. unbleached flour
Directions

1Sprinkle yeast into warm water.

2Stir in 1 tablespoon honey. Stir yeast until it dissolves and then set aside for about 10 minutes or until volume doubles.

3Combine remaining honey with milk, margarine and salt in a saucepan and heat until margarine melts.

4Do not let mixture get too hot.

5You should be able to put your finger in it without discomfort.

6Stir into yeast mixture.
