- 4 Tbsp. or 1/2 stick margarine
- 1 c. water
- 1 c. buttermilk or skim milk
- 1 c. whole wheat flour
- 5 1/2 c. all-purpose flour (approximately)
- 5 tsp. or 2 pkg. dry yeast
- 3 Tbsp. wheat germ
- 1 egg
- 1 Tbsp. lite salt
- 1/2 c. sugar
Directions

1In a pan, heat margarine, milk and water to 120°.

2In a large bowl, mix whole wheat flour, 2 cups of all-purpose flour, salt, sugar, yeast and wheat germ.

3Add warm liquid to dry ingredients. Add egg and beat 3 minutes in mixer.

4Add the rest of the flour, slowly, until the mixture is not sticky.

5It should be tacky.
