Wild Rice Casserole

Ingredients

  • 2 c. boiling water
  • 2/3 c. uncooked washed wild rice
  • 1 (10 1/2 oz.) can chicken rice soup
  • 1 (4 oz.) can sliced mushrooms (undrained)
  • 1/2 c. water
  • 1/2 to 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. celery salt
  • 1/4 tsp. garlic salt
  • paprika
  • 1 small to medium onion, chopped
  • 1 lb. ground beef

Directions

    Pour boiling water over washed rice.

    Cover and let stand 15 minutes; drain.

    Place wild rice in 2-quart casserole.

    Add soup, mushrooms with liquid, water, seasonings and paprika.

    Mix gently and let stand for a few minutes.
