Wild Rice Dressing

Ingredients
- 1 c. wild rice, washed and drained
- 3 c. water
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 c. butter
- 1 medium onion, finely chopped
- 1/2 c. slivered almonds
- 1/2 lb. fresh mushrooms, sliced
- 2 Tbsp. minced parsley
- 1/4 tsp. ground cloves (optional)
- 1 tsp. seasoned salt
Directions

1Wash rice and soak overnight; drain well.

2Bring water to boil; add salt and rice.

3Drain if necessary.

4Heat butter in skillet, add onion, almonds and mushrooms; saute 3 minutes.

5Blend in parsley, cloves and seasoned salt.

6Mix well.

7Makes approximately 4 cups.

8Delicious with game or domestic fowl, or use as meat accompaniment.
