- 3 c. cooked wild rice
- 2 c. cubed 1-inch cooked chicken or turkey
- 1 c. cubed 1-inch cooked ham
- 1 c. shredded carrots
- 1 c. (2 stalks) sliced 1/2-inch celery
- 1 qt. (4 c.) half and half
- 1 c. chicken broth
- 1/4 c. sherry or chicken broth
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1/4 c. all-purpose flour
- 3 Tbsp. melted butter
Directions

1In Dutch oven combine all ingredients except flour and butter.

2Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until heated through (15 to 20 minutes).

3In small bowl, stir together flour and butter; stir into hot soup.

4Continue cooking, stirring occasionally, until thickened, 5 to 8 minutes.
