Wild Rice Soup

  • 1 c. wild rice, cooked
  • 2 (10 oz.) cans cream of mushroom soup
  • 20 oz. half and half
  • 1/2 stick butter
  • 1/3 medium onion, chopped
  • 5 strips bacon
  • garlic minced
  • salt
  • white pepper
  • Beau Monde seasoning (Spice Islands)

Directions

    Slowly heat soup, half and half and butter.

    Saute bacon with onion until crisp.

    Chop bacon and add to soup mixture.

    Add garlic, salt, white pepper and Beau Monde seasoning to taste. Simmer on low.
