Wild Rice Stuffing

- 1/2 c. uncooked wild rice
- 1 c. hot water
- 1/4 c. melted margarine
- 3/4 c. chicken broth
- 1 tsp. salt
- 3 green onions
- 1/2 c. chopped celery
- 2 1/2 oz. can sliced mushrooms, drained
- 1/2 tsp. marjoram
- dash of ground nutmeg
- dash of garlic powder
Directions

1Soak wild rice in hot water for 1 hour and drain.

2Saute rice in margarine until golden brown.

3Add chicken broth and salt. Cover and simmer about 25 minutes or until tender.

4Add green onions, celery, mushrooms, marjoram and nutmeg.

5Toss lightly to mix.

6Yields about 1 1/4 cups.
