  • 1/4 c. minced onion
  • 1/4 c. butter
  • 4 c. dry bread crumbs
  • 1/2 c. chopped celery
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • sage or poultry seasoning to taste
  • 1 tsp. thyme, marjoram and rosemary, crushed
  • hot water or stock
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper

Directions

    Saute onion in butter.

    Stir in bread crumbs and heat until light brown.

    Mix 1/2 the crumbs with seasonings.

    Add enough liquid to moisten.

    Makes 4 1/2 cups of stuffing.
