- 1 (6 oz.) pkg. long grain and wild rice mix
- 1/4 lb. sausage
- 1/2 c. chopped onion
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 c. chopped celery
- 1/2 tsp. thyme leaves
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
Directions

1Prepare wild rice mix according to directions; set aside. Break sausage into pieces; brown in small skillet.

2Remove sausage and pour off all but 2 tablespoons of the sausage drippings from the skillet.

3Saute celery and onion in dripping until crisp-tender.
