- 2 Tbsp. drippings
- a little chopped onion
- 1/4 c. vinegar
- 1 qt. leaf lettuce or other greens, washed and cut
- salt and pepper
Directions

1Melt drippings in heavy pan; add a little chopped onion and cook until soft and yellow.

2Stir in vinegar, then add lettuce. Cover and heat a few minutes, until greens are wilted.

3Season with salt and pepper.

4Serve hot.
