- 1 1/2 lb. lean ground beef
- 1 c. tomato juice
- 3/4 c. Quaker oats, uncooked
- 1 egg or 2 egg whites, beaten
- 1/4 c. chopped onion
- 1/2 tsp. salt (optional)
- 1/4 tsp. black pepper
Directions

1Heat oven to 350°.

2Combine all ingredients; mix lightly but thoroughly.

3Press into 8 x 4-inch loaf pan.

4Bake 1 hour.

5Drain and let stand 5 minutes.
