Ingredients

  • 1 lb boneless skinless chicken thighs
  • 1/2 cup onion
  • 1/2 cup green pepper and red pepper
  • 3 egg yolks
  • 4 cups oil
  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • Marinade
  • 2 tablespoons light soy sauce
  • 1 egg white
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • Seasoning Sauce
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon wine (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch
  • 1/2 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • Peanut Mixture
  • 2 tablespoons ground roasted peanuts
  • 1 tablespoon ground roasted sesame seeds
  • 1 teaspoon sugar

Directions

    Dice chicken into 1/2 inch cubes and marinate in above marinade.

    Cut onion and peppers into little cubes.

    Prepare peanut mixture. Set aside.

    Add marinated chicken to lightly beaten egg yolks.

    Heat 4 cups of oil to 350°F Deep fry chicken a few pieces at a time for about 2 minutes.

    Heat 2 Tbsp of oil to stir-fry onion and peppers. Pour in seasoning sauce and stir until sauce thickens.

    Return chicken to sauce and mix well.

    Serve with grounded peanut mixture on top of chicken.
