- 2 pkg. yeast
- 1 c. lukewarm water
- 1 c. shortening
- 3/4 c. sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 c. boiling water
- 6 c. plain flour
- 2 sticks oleo, melted
Directions

1In one bowl, dissolve yeast in lukewarm water.

2In second bowl, mix shortening, sugar and salt. Add boiling water; mix well. Add eggs and mix well.

3Add flour and yeast mixture alternately to shortening mixture.

4Let rise until double in size.
