  • 3/4 c. sugar
  • 1 Tbsp. salt
  • 1 c. warm water
  • 7 c. flour
  • 3/4 c. shortening
  • 2 c. milk
  • 2 pkg. yeast

Directions

    Combine sugar, shortening, salt and milk; bring to a boil, then let cool to lukewarm.

    Dissolve yeast in warm water.

    Add to milk; gradually add flour.

    Let rise to double.

    Knead; cut with cutter.

    Put in pan.

    Let rise.

    Bake at 350° for 30 minutes.
