- 1 pkg. dry yeast
- 2 c. very warm water
- 1 egg, beaten
- 4 c. self-rising flour
- 3/4 c. butter
- 1/4 c. sugar
Directions

1Dissolve yeast in warm water.

2Set aside.

3Melt butter; cream with sugar in large bowl.

4Add egg and yeast to creamed mixture. Add flour and stir well.

5Place in airtight container.

6Store in refrigerator.

7When ready to bake, stir down.

8Preheat oven to 350°.

9Fill muffin tin 2/3 full.

10Bake 20 minutes.

11Yields 2 dozen.
