- 3/4 c. vegetable shortening
- 3/4 c. sugar
- 1 pkg. yeast
- 2 beaten eggs
- 7 c. flour
- 1 c. milk, scalded
- 1 c. mashed potatoes
- 1/2 c. water
- 2 tsp. salt
Directions

1Dissolve yeast in water (use water from potatoes).

2Important to let water cool to lukewarm.

3Mix with remaining ingredients to make a stiff dough.

4Let rise until double in size; knead down. Bake at 400°.

5Makes 4 dozen rolls.
