Ingredients
- 2 pkg. dry yeast
- 1/4 c. warm water
- 1 1/2 c. buttermilk
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. vegetable oil
- 1 tsp. salt
- 4 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp. soda
- 2 Tbsp. butter (for pan)
Directions

1Dissolve yeast in warm water.

2Let yeast sit while preparing other ingredients.

3Heat buttermilk until warm.

4Remove milk from heat and combine with oil, sugar and salt.

5Sift flour and soda in a large bowl.

6Mix yeast with buttermilk mixture, then add in flour mixture.

7Mix well and let stand for 10 minutes.

8Roll out dough on floured surface and cut out biscuits.

9Place rolls in a pan with melted butter.

10Coat each side with butter.

11Let rolls stand 30 minutes in a warm place to rise.

12Bake at 425° for 10 to 12 minutes.
