Ingredients
- 1 pkg. dry yeast
- 1/4 c. warm water
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 1 tsp. salt
- 2 c. milk
- 1/3 c. butter or shortening
- 6 to 7 c. plain flour
Directions

1Dissolve yeast in warm water.

2In large mixing bowl, mix sugar, salt, milk and butter.

3Add yeast and water mixture.

4Knead in flour; cover.

5Let rise until doubled in bulk.

6Knead lightly. Roll dough out to desired thickness.

7Cut into rolls.

8Place on greased baking pan.

9Let rise.
-
10Bake in preheated oven at 450° until golden brown.

11Makes about 2 dozen rolls.
