- 1 pkg. yeast
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 1 tsp. salt
- 2 c. warm water
- 1 egg
- 6 c. flour
- 4 Tbsp. butter
Directions

1Combine yeast in a bowl and add sugar and small amount of water.

2Stir until dissolved.

3Add salt, egg and remaining water. Sift flour; add half to mixture and beat well.

4Add melted butter and mix in as much flour as can be stirred with a spoon.

5Let rise and punch down.

6Cover tightly and place in refrigerator.

7Use as much as desired.

8Grease pan.

9Bake 20 minutes at 425°.

10Brush with butter after 15 minutes.
