- 1 pkg. dry yeast
- 1/3 c. shortening
- 1 egg
- 3 c. flour
- 2 Tbsp. sugar
- 1/4 c. lukewarm water
- 1 c. sweet milk
Directions

1Put dry yeast in 1/4 cup lukewarm water.

2Let rise about 15 minutes.

3Beat egg, sugar and shortening with about 3/4 cup milk. Mix well.

4Add flour; mix again.

5Add remaining milk; mix well. Knead on floured paper.

6Put in bowl.

7Let stand 1 hour or until doubled in bulk.

8Roll out in small biscuits.

9Should make 20 rolls.
