- 5 c. flour
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. powdered milk
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
- 2 c. lukewarm water
- 1/2 c. Crisco shortening
- 1/2 c. yeast
Directions

1Sift together all dry ingredients.

2In mixing bowl, mix 2 cups lukewarm water and the shortening.

3Mix water and shortening a little while, then add the yeast.

4Mix well, then add dry ingredients.

5Let rise about twice its size, then roll out and cut out rolls.

6Place on a greased pan; let rise again.

7Bake at 325° for about 20 minutes, or until done.

8Butter tops of rolls.
