Ingredients

  • 1 teaspoon ground coriander
  • 2 teaspoons ground cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon turmeric fresh grated
  • 3 yellow bell peppers long, chopped
  • 1 lemongrass stalk white part, chopped
  • 1 garlic clove minced
  • 1 onion chopped
  • 2 teaspoons galanga fresh grated
  • 1 bunch fresh cilantro minced
  • 1 teaspoon shrimp paste found at Asian grocery stores
  • 1 tablespoon oil

Directions

    In a small pan without any fat toast coriander, cumin and cinnamon until fragrant (1 to 2 minutes)

    Put the toasted spices and all the remaining ingredients(except the oil) in a mortar and mash them to get a smooth paste. Add the oil and mix.

    Store in the refrigerator or freeze it in small portions.
