  • 1 c. rice (converted long grain)
  • 1 1/2 c. water
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp. butter
  • 4 to 5 chicken bouillon cubes
  • saffron (1 to 1 1/2 pkg. threads or 3/4 small tube)
  • parsley (for garnish)

Directions

    Bring water to a boil (in a pot).

    Drop in bouillon cubes; wait for them to dissolve.

    Add the rice.

    Add the butter.

    Add saffron threads (try to separate them).

    Cover pot tightly and reduce flame to simmer.

    Simmer for 20 minutes.

    Garnish with parsley.
