- 2 to 3 lb. yellow squash
- 1 stick butter
- 1 small finely chopped onion
- 1 garlic button
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1 c. milk
- 2 whole eggs, beaten
- 2 Tbsp. sugar
- 20 Club or Ritz crackers
Directions

1Wash and slice squash; cook in salted water until tender.

2(Do not overcook.)

3Saute onion and garlic in butter and add to drained squash.

4Add 2/3 cup butter, sugar, salt and pepper to squash mixture.

5Mix well.

6Add milk, 2 eggs and cracker crumbs. Mix gently.

7Pour into buttered casserole dish.

8Dot top with remaining 1/3 cup butter and crushed crackers.

9Bake in a 350° oven for 40 minutes or until browned.
