  • 1 c. flour
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 c. milk
  • 1 Tbsp. oil

    All ingredients should be room temperature.

    Beat eggs until light and thick.

    Add flour and 1/3 cup milk.

    Beat slowly 30 seconds, gradually adding remaining milk and oil.

    Beat 1 to 2 minutes.

    Place 4 tablespoons hot meat drippings into a hot 8 x 8-inch pan.

    Pour in batter and bake at 425° for 15 to 20 minutes. Serve hot from oven with gravy.
