Ingredients
- 1 c. flour
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- fat (either drippings from meat or shortening)
- 2 eggs
- 10 oz. milk or milk and water
Directions

1Preheat oven to 425° prior to baking.

2Combine flour, salt, eggs and liquid in blender at least one hour prior to baking. Flash blend occasionally to mix well.

3Prepare 6 muffin tin with knife point or knob of fat in each cup.

4Immediately prior to baking, place tin in oven and heat fat (less than 5 minutes; watch or you will have a kitchen full of smoke!)

5Remove and fill each cup with flour/egg/milk mixture.

6Place in hot oven and bake 15 to 20 minutes.

7Serve at once; in true Yorkshire tradition, as a starter with gravy.
