- 75 grams margarine
- 340 ml White sugar
- 125 ml golden syrup
- 250 ml boiling water
- 325 ml salted peanuts
Directions

1Over gentle heat, stir in margarine, sugar, golden syrup and water together in a pot until the sugar is dissolved

2Turn up the heat and, without stirring, boil the mixture for half an hour.

3To test if it is ready, drop a little of the mixture in cold water.

4If it is ready, it will set hard and cracked when broken.

5Remove the pot from the stove and stir in the nuts.

6Pour into a geared tin (roughly 20 cm X 20 cm) and allow to set.

7Break into pieces when hard and store in a jar.
