- 1/4 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. dry or sweet Marsala
- 1 c. heavy whipping cream
Directions

1Early in day or up to 1 week ahead, in double boiler over hot (not boiling) water with portable mixer at high speed or hand beater, beat egg yolks and sugar until very thick, about 5 minutes.

2Add Marsala and continue beating until mixture is fluffy and mounds slightly when dropped from a spoon.

3Cover and refrigerate until mixture is slightly cooled, about 30 minutes.
