Ingredients
- 1 to 2 lb. pork, cubed about 1/2 to 3/4-inch
- 4 to 5 big onions, chopped
- 2 soft apples, cubed
- 2 lb. sauerkraut, drained
- 1 Tbsp. paprika
- some pepper
- 3 to 4 beef bouillon cubes
- 2 bay leaves
- 1/2 c. water
- 1 1/2 Tbsp. flour
- 2 Tbsp. Crisco
Directions

1Roast onion in Crisco until light brown.

2Sprinkle paprika over onion.

3Add water and cubed meat; cover and let cook about 1/2 hour.

4Then add sauerkraut, apples, bouillon cubes, bay leaves and enough water to cover sauerkraut; salt and pepper to taste. Cook for 2 hours.

5Mix sour cream with flour and a little water to smooth; add to sauerkraut mix.

6Let simmer a couple more minutes.
