  • 1 9/16 cups potato starch
  • 1 1/4 cups sugar
  • 3 eggs medium
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 7 tablespoons butter
  • grated lemon peel
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 9/16 cup cocoa powdered
  • 4 3/4 tablespoons dark chocolate chips
  • powdered sugar

    Preheat the oven to 180C.

    Combine the flour, potato starch, sugar, eggs, milk, butter, grated peel of 1 lemon, and the vanilla extract together and divide the batter into 2 bowls.

    Add the powdered cocoa to one bowl and the chocolate chips to the other.

    Butter a bundt or tube pan and begin adding the two types of batter in layers, first one type and then the other, and so on.

    Sprinkle the top layer with powdered sugar.

    Bake for 45 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

    Cool the cake completely before removing it from the pan, sprinkle with powdered sugar, and serve.
