- 6 c. zucchini
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 1/2 Tbsp. flour
- 1 1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
- 1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
- dash of salt
- dash of nutmeg
- 1 tsp. lemon juice
- dough for double crust pie
Directions

1Peel zucchini; slice lengthwise.

2Remove seeds.

3Slice as you would slice apples.

4Add small amount of water; bring to a boil. Simmer until tender; drain well and cool.

5Add remaining ingredients; place in an unbaked 9-inch pie crust.

6Cover with top crust; flute edges to seal.

7Cut slits in top crust for steam to escape.

8Bake in preheated 400° oven for 40 to 50 minutes. (Tastes like apple pie.)
