- 1 head lettuce
- 1 1/2 c. finely chopped celery
- 2 green peppers, cut in rings
- 1 c. chopped red onion
- 1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen peas, partially cooked
- 1 c. mayonnaise (Hellmann's)
- 1 c. sour cream
- 3 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
- 1/2 lb. bacon, crumbled (fry first)
Directions

1Shred lettuce into a 9 x 13-inch dish.

2Layer lettuce, peppers, onion and peas.

3Mix mayonnaise and sour cream; spread on top.

4Sprinkle sugar, cheese and bacon on top.

5Cover and refrigerate about 4 to 8 hours.

6Do not toss until ready to serve.
