  • 2 1/2 c. plain flour
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 3 tsp. melted butter (have extra to dip rolls)
  • 1 pkg. yeast, dissolved in 1 c. lukewarm buttermilk
  • 1/4 tsp. soda
  • 1 tsp. sugar

Directions

    Sift together flour, baking powder and salt.

    Mix well butter, yeast (dissolved in buttermilk), soda and sugar.

    Make into dough; knead until smooth.

    Roll out, cut, dip into butter and fold.

    Let rise in a warm place for 30 minutes.

    Bake for 10 minutes at 450°.
