  • 1 lb. stewing beef
  • `1 c. each: carrots, potatoes and onions
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 Tbsp. sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. minute tapioca
  • 1 c. V-8 tomato juice

    Oil casserole.

    Place beef in bottom of pan; add vegetables, salt, sugar, tapioca and juice.

    Stir well; cover and cook at 250° for 4 hours.

    Do not stir while in oven.
