Ingredients

  • 2 lb. stewing beef
  • 5 stalks celery
  • 5 carrots, cut up
  • 1 onion
  • potato (if desired)
  • 1 can cut green beans
  • 1 large can tomatoes
  • 1/2 c. tapioca
  • 3 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. pepper
  • little less than 1/4 tsp. rosemary
  • little less than 1/4 tsp. thyme
  • little less than 1/4 tsp. marjoram

Directions

    Mix all ingredients in a large pan.

    Cover tightly; let stand, then bake in 2 casseroles at 275° for 5 hours.

    Freeze one of the casseroles.
