- 15 oz. box raisin bran or plain bran cereal
- 1 qt. buttermilk
- 1 c. oil
- 2 c. sugar
- 2 tsp. salt
- 4 eggs
- 5 c. flour
- 5 tsp. baking soda
- blueberries or nuts (optional; add just before baking)
Directions

1Mix cereal, buttermilk, oil, sugar and eggs.

2Sift flour, salt and soda together.

3Stir into cereal mixture.

4Cover and refrigerate 6 hours before using.

5When ready, fill paper lined muffin tins 2/3 full.

6(Batter will keep for 6 weeks, covered, in refrigerator.)

7Bake at 375° for 15 minutes.
