- 30 (4 to 5-inch) cucumbers
- 2 qt. vinegar
- 1/4 c.salt
- 15 c. sugar (okay to use 13 c.)
- 1/4 c. mixed pickling spice (place spices in cheesecloth)
Directions

1Pour boiling water over cucumbers for 4 days.

2Drain well each time.

3On fifth day, make syrup and pour over for 4 days, drain and bring to boil each day.

4Can pickles ninth day.
