Ingredients

  • 1/2 head lettuce, shredded
  • 1 c. chopped onion
  • 1 c. thinly sliced celery
  • 1 c. chopped pepper (green or red)
  • 1 can garbanzo beans, drained
  • 1 1/2 c. mayonnaise
  • 2 tsp. sugar
  • 8 oz. shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 1 lb. cooked and crumbled bacon

Directions

    Using a large bowl, place ingredients in layers as listed. Allow to set for 24 hours to blend flavors.

    Can be served as a salad or fill half a pita pocket with salad mixture.
