Ingredients

  • 2 to 2 1/2 c. plain flour
  • 2 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 pkg. dry yeast
  • 1/2 c. milk
  • 1/4 c. water
  • 2 Tbsp. margarine

Directions

    Mix 3/4 cup flour, sugar, salt and yeast.

    Heat milk, water and margarine to 120°.

    Gradually add to dry ingredients and beat 2 minutes at medium speed of mixer.

    Add 1/4 cup flour and beat at high speed 2 minutes.

    Stir in enough additional flour to make soft dough.

    Turn out on floured board and knead 2 to 3 minutes. Divide dough into 12 pieces.

    Shape into balls and place in greased round pan.

    Let rise 30 minutes.

    Place rolls in cold oven and turn oven to 375°.

    Bake 20 minutes or until done.

    Serve warm.
