- 8 oz. each or 1 1/3 c. dried apricots, pitted prunes and figs
- 4 c. (about 1 lb.) almonds, coarsely chopped
- 1 c. flour
- 1 c. sugar
- 2 1/4 ??? baking powder
- 4 eggs
- 1 tsp. vanilla
Directions

1Preheat oven to 300°.

2Butter and flour a 5 x 9-inch loaf pan. Combine fruit, nuts, flour, baking powder and 3/4 cup sugar; stir to mix evenly.

3Use a mixer to beat eggs and 1/4 cup sugar until tripled in volume.

4Pour into fruit mixture and stir with a spoon to blend.

5Pack evenly into prepared pan and bake 2 hours or until done.

6Cool in pan 15 minutes.

7Invert and cool on rack.
