- 1 5/8 cups flour
- 7/8 cup sugar
- 2 eggs
- 5 3/8 tablespoons margarine softened
- 1/2 lemon juice
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 7/8 cup chopped almonds
- 7 1/8 tablespoons margarine
- 6 3/4 tablespoons milk
Directions

1Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius.

2Grease a 25 centimeter pie mold with margarine, or line with parchment paper.

3Mix all the pie crust ingredients until you get a smooth texture.

4Spread the dough in the pie mold, and bake for about 15 minutes.

5While the crust bakes in the oven, place all topping ingredients in a saucepan or frying pan, and bring to a gentle simmer. Stir often until golden. Remove from heat.

6Remove the crust from the oven, and cover with almond topping.

7Bake for 5 to 10 minutes, until caramelized. Do not let it get too dry.
