- 1/2 c. chopped onions
- 1 stick margarine
- 1 1/2 c. rice
- 2 cans consomme soup
- 1 can water
- 1 c. pecans or almonds
Directions

1Put first 3 ingredients in a casserole dish, place in 350° oven and cook for 15 minutes.

2Then add rice, 1 can consomme soup and one can of water; cook uncovered for 45 minutes.

3Then add 1 can consomme soup and cook covered 45 minutes.

4Last 15 minutes, put nuts on top.

5Pecans are a nice replacement for almonds, actually better.
