  • 2 c. sugar
  • 4 1/2 to 8 oz. almonds (slivered or whole)

    Combine butter and sugar into medium pan.

    Cook over medium heat until reaches 300° or hard crack on candy thermometer.

    Take off heat; add your almonds.

    Pour onto cookie sheet.
