- 1 1/2 c. water
- 1 lemon peel
- 1 fifth vodka or gin
- 6 tsp. almond extract
- 2 tsp. vanilla extract
- 1 tsp. chocolate flavoring
Directions

1Simmer sugar, water and lemon peel 20 minutes.

2Remove from heat and allow to cool.

3Add vodka, almond, vanilla and chocolate flavoring.

4Remove lemon peel.

5Yields 1 1/2 fifths; cooled Amaretto can be poured into 2 bottles.
