  • 170 grams Pork shoulder or pork belly
  • 2 tbsp Sugar (I used brown sugar)
  • 1 1/2 tbsp Soy sauce
  • 1 piece Ginger
  • 1 tsp Sake
  • 1 dash Salt
  • 5 Shishito peppers
  • 1 Canola oil

Directions

    Rub finely chopped ginger and sake into the pork.

    Heat oil in a pan and add sugar.

    (I use brown sugar, so it's brown.)

    Spread meat on the sugar and heat on medium.
  5. 5
    Flip once one side becomes juicy and brown.

    Add shishito peppers.

    Once both sides are browned, quickly pour soy sauce in circular motion.

    Put heat on high and shake the pan to mix everything together.
