  • 1 cup Whole Wheat Flour
  • 1 cup Unbleached Flour
  • 4 Tablespoons Nonfat Dry Milk Powder
  • 1/2 teaspoons Sea Salt
  • 5 teaspoons Baking Powder
  • 2 whole Eggs (large)
  • 2 cups Water (may Need A Bit More)

Directions

    Heat waffle iron.

    Mix whole wheat flour, unbleached flour, dry milk, salt, baking powder. Add eggs and water, mix until smooth; add a bit more water if needed.

    Oil the waffle iron before baking each waffle.

    Makes 10, depending upon the size of the waffle iron.

    Note: we use Rumford's baking powder. We order it from our local health food store in a 5 lb. container for the best price and it will last for years.
