- 1 c. milk
- 1 c. heavy cream
- 4 egg yolks
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 1 Tbsp. flour
- 1 tsp. salt
- 3 Tbsp. sherry
- 8 medium oranges
- 1 1/2 c. grated coconut
Directions

1Section oranges.

2Pour milk and cream into top of a double boiler and heat over boiling water until scalded.

3Beat egg yolks in a mixing bowl until light and stir in sugar, flour and salt. Add milk mixture slowly, stirring constantly.

4Return to double boiler and cook until thick.

5Cool; then add sherry.

6Place alternate layers of orange sections, custard and coconut ending with coconut.

7Chill thoroughly.
