  • 13 cup sugar
  • 2 teaspoons flour, all-purpose
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 3 large eggs
  • 3 cups milk
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1 each pie shell (9 inch) unbaked 9 inches

Directions

    Combine sugar, flour, salt and eggs and mix until smooth.

    Heat milk to boiling point.

    Add 1 cup hot milk to egg mixture.

    Pour that into the remaining hot milk.

    Pour into unbaked pie shell.

    Sprinkle nutmeg over top.

    Bake at 350F (180C).

    for 45 to 60 minutes.
