- 4 c. self-rising flour
- 2 pkg. dry yeast
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 tsp. soda
- 1/2 c. Crisco
- 2 1/2 c. buttermilk
Directions

1Mix flour, dry yeast, sugar and soda together, then cut in Crisco and add buttermilk.

2Mix well.

3Turn out on floured board and knead enough to harden together and becomes smooth.

4Place in greased bowl and rub top of mixture with oil.

5Cover loosely.

6Put in refrigerator overnight.

7Bake at 425° for 12 to 15 minutes.
