- 1 pkg. dry yeast
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 1 tsp. soda
- 1/2 c. shortening
- 2 Tbsp. warm water
- 2 c. buttermilk
Directions

1Sift flour, sugar and soda together.

2Cut in shortening. Soften yeast in water.

3Mix yeast and buttermilk with dry ingredients.

4Roll out to 1/4-inch and cut.

5Place in 400° oven (cold).

6Dip in melted butter and fold for butterfly rolls.
